Monica R. Smith

I first found my passion for fitness through playing basketball at a very young age. After receiving my B.A. from Louisiana State University, I realized that my passion for fitness actually had become my purpose. I entered the fitness industry first as an assistant manager, and then two years after that I acquired my National Academy of Sports Medicine personal training certification. As a personal trainer I love to challenge my clients to strive to become stronger, strive to be more flexible, strive to have better stabilization and endurance, and strive to live their best lives. I believe that fitness is about more than sets, repetitions, and weights—it’s about empowerment. I feel certain that through fitness and wellness we can discover our bodies' greatest potential!
